Meet The Team *
Allison Murray
Owner of AMW Myofunctional Therapy & Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
A California native, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Nebraska and have been practicing in California since 2014. Over time, I noticed recurring issues among my patients—orthodontic relapse, narrow palates, worn teeth, open bites, and struggles with poor sleep—that traditional approaches often didn’t fully address.
This inspired me to pursue Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT). I began my OMT training with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2019 and continue to deepen my knowledge through advanced education with leading experts in the field.
I founded AMW to help patients uncover and treat the root of oral and facial muscle dysfunction. Today, I support patients of all ages in creating healthy habits and lasting improvements in function, sleep, and overall wellness.

A native of Orange County, I’m proud to serve the community where I grew up. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Loma Linda University and have practiced locally as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2015. Through continuing education, I discovered Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) and quickly realized that I—and many of my patients—were affected by Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs).
Passionate about whole-body health and treating root causes, I’m committed to raising awareness about the impact of OMDs. I believe early intervention can greatly improve function, growth, and quality of life at any age. I continue to expand my expertise in OMT to provide the best care and support for my patients on their journey to improved health.
